Happy International Women’s Day to all the inspiring and resilient women out there!
Today, we are excited to share with you that Malaysian Doctors for Women & Children has formed a new partnership with the Boston Congress of Public Health, Publisher of HPHR Journal (BCPH). Transcending the traditional boundaries of academia and medicine, BCPH supports emerging and established thought leaders, researchers, and advocates committed to social justice and health equity, and democratises access to evidence-based public health thought.
This partnership is a significant step forward in our mission to achieve health equity for women and children, and we are honoured to have the support of such a reputable and dedicated organisation. We believe that by joining forces, we can create a more significant impact and bring about positive change for our community.
Let us continue to uplift and support each other in our pursuit of equality and justice. Let us use our voices to speak up for those who cannot, and let us work together to break down the barriers that hold us back. This year’s United Nations theme is DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality. While technology has the potential to bridge the gap in inequalities that girls and women place, it can also be a source of hostility and harm to girls. Let’s #PowerOn to support a safer environment for girls and women in the digital space, so that they can enjoy the benefits technology can offer and achieve their fullest potential. Together with BCPH, we are excited about the opportunities to support gender equity that this partnership will bring and greatly appreciate your continued support as we embark on this new chapter.
To all the women who have paved the way for us and to those who are still fighting, thank you for your unwavering dedication to progress. Today, we honour you and stand with you.
